Moving in was easy. Everyone from the office was friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was better than I had expected (even having seen it in the virtual tour). It was clean, spacious and I was happy to get a unit with washer and dryer!
Update: My AC started to struggle in the heatwave so I submitted a ticket. Ty was prompt in bringing up a portable unit and getting it situated for max cooling until they could fix the main unit; which they did the next day! Very happy with the speed and quality of service! And Ty is just a cool dude!

My wife and I have been living at Wakefield Glen for four months now. We left another apartment community in Raleigh we'd been at for 5 years. During our search, we went to over a dozen other communities, some more expensive than Wakefield, some cheaper. There was no competition, Wakefield Glen was the clear choice.
Our tour was lead by Elisabeth. She wasn't the typical uncomfortably pushy sales type we had seen at almost every other community. She patiently answered our questions and let us tour the units at our pace. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and quickly followed up

I have lived in this complex for a few years now. It was recently taken over by another company called Greystar this past spring/summer. I had either a mold or mildew issue in my apartment that resulted in me having to throw away many of my personal belongings. I noticed the problem started in the covering of my central air system. It only got worse. It ended up in the garage I rented also, on furniture and the furniture of people renting a garage next to me. It is also in a storage unit in my same building really bad. I've lived in Wakefield glen for almost 4 years and I love it. The apartments are much bigger than many around the area and the staff here is really friendly. The maintenance has gotten much better over the past year. Any time I have an issue it gets fixed super quick. The main things I like about living here is it's quiet and safe. I can go outside at anytime of day and feel safe about it.
