My daughter an granddaughter moved in a few months ago to a bug infested unbelievably dirty apartment. They were told that carpet an paint would be done if they waited,well like so many families they needed a place. The very little bit of money they knocked off so we could do it . Is a joke.
Now there is mold growing on the ceiling from the up stairs is going to be the straw that causes me to call the city inspector an fire chief maybe they can get something done.

I've been out here far too long and the prices they asking are not worth it in my opinion. The outlets either don't hold the plugs or they don't work all together. Cabinets, stove, and refrigerator out of date. They put you on a list for maintenance to come fix stuff and that may take forever. Instead of moving people in yall should take care of the ones already out.

During my horrid one year stay here I had to deal with break ins, shootings, and drunks. There is partying on a near daily basis so expect to fully wake up in the middle of the night to loud music and because of the nearly non existent home office you can expect that to never change. There is a bad bug problem because their idea of maintenance is a guy coming in for 10 seconds to spray one spot on the floor and then leaving. Maintenance will probably show up to your apartment once if you need them and never come back to fix your issues. And after multiple calls you just decide to either fix things

The landlord did not work with me. That's all I heard was she will work with you, she cool, she understanding blah blah blah. Well all I ask of her was to take half deposit and other half the "upcoming following 2 Fridays". Noooo she declined. Reason being Christmas and my child's bday was in the same month. So yes money was kind of tight. I begged her and just ask please work with me. I just wanted my kids to have a home to wake up on, on Christmas day. Then she gets on social media and ask if there is anyone interested in an apartment and you must have all money up front. She picks and chooses

My son and his girlfriend recently moved in. There are so many issues I dont know where to begin. The apt was nasty when they got in. It had not been cleaned from previous tenants. The apt smelled of cig smoke. The first night the air unit froze up. The spare bedroom flooded and was told it was from unit freezing up. They were told that was normal. That's not normal and did nothing to dry carpet. The carpet and padding is soaked and will soon smell really bad. Every single outlet in apt is so wore out nothing will stay plugged in. I could go on. As much as they are paying all problems should be

Apartments need remodeling.... when I moved to Decatur Place Apartments I had to be my own self terminater. The apartment I got was Roach infested an I had to clean it myself... you have to call the office a million times to get anything fixed,if they fix it after the million times you've called.... not a good place to live.... you get fined for every single thing they find on your porch but they won't fix a thing in the apartments....
