I applied around August-September and at first was not approved. I was told I would get a check in the mail for my processing fees and still no check and it’s now almost January. Last month or so after I’d already found somewhere else, I got an email and a phone call that I was now approved. Not sure what happened between august and now. Still no check though.

The people in the office are VERY rude. They are very lazy and do NOT care about you and your needs. Hands down the worst place I've lived. We didn't have air for a MONTH, and they knew. We also put in several work orders. They don't repair anything in the apartments they just cover it up and try to make it look better. One day we woke up to our apartment filled with smoke and the firefighters said they've been trying to make them change the whole central heating in air in all of the apartments because they are so old and can catch fire, but the complex refuses to fix them until they actually do

Honestly my time there wasn't the worst. The apartments are very overpriced and the maintenance and front office are not very attentive. A year after moving out, I receive a bill. I respond with a certified debt validation request and no response. I've already contacted the Attorney General's office because this is ridiculous. They are not up to code and do not follow their policies. I sure hope there is a class action suit to follow.

I absolutely love this property and location! It’s so close to EVERYTHING! The mall, grocery shopping, dining and great schools are all less than a mile away! The renovations are amazing! The manager Arika is so welcoming and willing to help! You can tell she really cares about this community!! I’m so glad I’ve found Icon Lakewood!!

I've lived here for about two years and we have had 3 different property managers. My heat was out for about 3 months after I moved in, I was given a space heater which was then taken away, the next day, because another resident "needed it more" as i was told by Tim from the maintenance team. How do you determined who needs it more? Especially when temperatures are low! I've also spoken with the regional manager, Kerrie, who is also very rude. When trying to file a complaint with her once, she ended the call after interrupting me the entire time I was trying to make her aware of the issue at hand

Do not lease here. Ac never stops running and u will be lucky it gets to 74. No hot water. Management is a joke. They will lie to you and never correct anything. Contact brookside properties in Nashville to demand changes. This is awful. Park like setting? Lol no there is not. Sure the Upgrades were nice but the underlying issues are major. I am terribly concerned for my safety as well. Had a mnt man in my apt today when I got out of shower after repeatedly telling the office to please call before they come. I have a dog and there is no way that man knocked or announced himself and

I am leaving 1 star because I can't leave 0 stars. This is the most unprofessional apartment leasing office I have ever had to deal with for an apartment. 1 1/2 weeks ago I applied for an available apartment and I was going to sign later that week on Thursday. I had the weekend off so I could move and get everything together. I showed up right when they opened to sign a lease at which they let me know they did not have it ready. So, after the weekend and several days of the run around I reached someone at the office that obviously did not care and was munching on food. The manager which is

Let me be frank: this is THE WORST apartment complex I have EVER stayed in. The first night I was at this apartment my unit flooded and they found the foundation was cracked. They made me move to a different unit. This unit I moved to flooded 7 TIMES while living there - while it was being cleaned I would have to live in a construction zone. Dehumidifiers and fans running all day and night. Also, I did not have a working A/C for an entire year. They would come out and say they “fixed” it but it would only cool down to 78 degrees in my apartment. My electricity bill was ~ $300 a month due to

One star is too many stars for this place. Management is a complete joke. Good luck getting any replies to calls or emails. Extremely rude staff. Here its normal to pay over $180 for electric in a one bedroom apartment, why? Nobody knows. Nails coming up through the floor everywhere. License plate stolen off my friends car. Ant infestation. Don’t waste your time, go find a better place to live.

I sincerely appreciate that the complex have washer/dryer hook-ups, that was very needed.
The apartment complex is OVER 40 YEARS OLD, and a resident is able to FEEL the warped flooring as they walk. The water heater cannot support 4 apartments together, as a resident is showering, the temperature changes to either burning or chilling. This problem is enough to drive residents to moving out. The water pipes break down easily, probably due to not enough proper insulation to code. The faucets in the bathrooms are way to tight to turn, they are basically too old, and they LEAK! The bathroom
