My favorite Chinese spot. It is in a rough neighborhood but that's how you know the food is good. Right now it is takeout only. Their crab Rangoon are the best I have ever had. And if you become a regular they might add extras to your order.

Best Chinese food in town. Fast delivery and they always add at least one, sometimes two free items to your order. Usually the sugar dipped fried biscuits or soup, it’s a nice surprise every time I order. I have been getting delivery from them for three years and not once has my order been the tiniest bit incorrect. I can’t say that for any other place.

Went yesterday 8/09/2021 spent almost $50. The food was nasty me my husband and 4 kids got diarrhea right after eating none of us financed the food and we all started feeling sick even my 2 year old wouldn’t eat and she loves Chinese food. Will never order there again. To be honest with you I would like a full refund for food I had to threw out it was so bad. The general chicken chicken fried rice the shrimp egg roll was mushy the only thing that was good was the fresh cooked donuts

The location and condition of the inside of this place is the only reason I took a star off. But their food is always good and they give big portions for reasonable prices. Food is ready quickly and the staff is friendly.

Pretty good over all, a bit inconsistent.
Shrimp/ beef and broccoli very good.
It's great they give you free sugar donuts as a dessert with your meal!

Ordered for delivery on a whim. I am definitely skeptical of Chinese food in cities I am visiting because I've been let down plenty of times. But, my friends recommended this spot. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! Also thought the prices were very fair.

Veggie Lo Mein - noodles were great quality, could have used a little more sauce on them 4/5

Hot and Sour Soup- A solid cup of hot and sour soup and they gave you the crunchies to put in It :)

Best delivery We have ever ordered! No words I had to wait to eat, just to 5 star review these folks! Amazing job! Our delivery was so on point...it had plate presentation! Fried doughnuts on the side, piping hot, plenty of sauces and food to last three meals! THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER!

Happily surprised. My normal Chinese place to go to in Lexington is closed on Tuesday so decided to follow the advice of other Yelpers and check this place out. I conveniently ordered online and loved how the service emailed me that my order was ready for pick up, right in time. Once I got home we started to dive in. So good!! The pork fried rice had great flavors and an ample amount of pork. My husband loved the egg rolls and Mongolian beef. I had the crab Rangoon, liked I could get a small order of 4 count. Wish the crab Rangoon had more crab then cream cheese, it was good but not a lot of protein

Super quick & easy takeout! Location was kind of difficult to find though using Apple Maps since it took us to the back. Portions were big & the food was good. They also threw in some free Chinese donuts which tasted great while still hot.
Ordered the general tso's chicken with lo mien & a cup of egg drop soup. Chicken was a bit too big for my liking, but there wasn't excessive breading which is great. I feel like it's hard to mess up egg drop soup so that was delicious.
Also had the sweet & sour chicken with fried rice which was good.

The food just did not taste good, but that could be a matter of personal opinion.

We ordered and got our food quickly for take out. It was a bit pricey for American Chinese, but we could've looked past that. Unfortunately, we did not like the food and won't be returning. Both my partner and I ended up feeling extremely sick after dinner. Disappointed!

I guess the search is still on for the perfect take out Chinese for our lazy evenings!

Wow...traveling thru and was wanting some takeout...lived up in the northeast (nyc, Boston) for past 20 years...this was the best takeout I've EVER had. AMAZING! Wish I lived here so I could be a regular!

Pretty bad. Initial impression was good, presentation of food was great and it was hot. However, the General Tso's Chicken consisted of super small pieces of meat (some undercooked) wrapped in huge balls of breading... So. Much. Breading. The fried rice was good, run of the mill, but good. But I cannot stress enough how bad the chicken was, in both our meals. Egg Rolls were delicious though. If i ever order from them again, it will be only for egg rolls. Cannot recommend. I've still got plenty of my order left, and I'm telling you now, that it's going in the garbage.

I have never had a go to Chinese restaurant in Lexington until I ordered Happy China. The menu is what you would expect as are the prices. The quality has yet to disappoint. But what keeps me coming back is the thoughtful service. I always call because it's much cheaper than ordering through door dash. It's always an easy process and you can tip over the phone and get contact free delivery. They have always even waited to make sure I received it. They delivered to us in a snow storm. That was the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. The flavors were amazing. I ordered several different dishes. The bean curd with mixed vegetables in black bean sauce was delicious, the crab Rangoon were huge, looked homemade and was also delicious (with extra veggies). Delivery was fast. Everything was hot! And you through in donuts!!! Thank you!

Some of the best American style Chinese food I've had. Ordered delivery through DoorDash and had hot food at my door in about 30 minutes. I ordered plain lo mein, a pint of egg drop soup, and hot and spicy chicken. All of it was very tasty and the chicken had a good level of sweet and heat. They even left a surprise in my bag. Instead of giving me just a pint of egg drop soup, they upgraded it to a quart, completely free of charge. A nice gesture for sure and will get my business in the future whenever I'm in Lexington.

Very good take out. For the Hamburg area there are not a lot to choose from so we tried this sight unseen. Delivery was very quick and the food was hot and packaged nicely. The sweet rolls that they added in for no extra charge on our large order were amazing. Better than anything I've had in a while. Like miniature doughnut holes with sugar, but way better. I'd order just those if I was wanting a sweet treat. Will be using this place going forward. A lot.

This is a great local Chinese Restaurant. In the Eastland Shopping Center and near the center of Lexington. This restaurant offers a variety of meal choice, meals with chicken, beef, pork and seafood. They also have a daily lunch special. Happy China offers dine in, carry out, delivery and have a buffet during the day. I purchased the General Two's Chicken with fried rice and a spring roll. I was looking for an alternative to ordering delivery on DoorDash so I decided to try somewhere that delivered on their own. It was very fast and the driver was very nice, plus ordering over the phone was easy. I got chicken and broccoli, it was actually good. I did not finish it all so I ended up eating the rest the next day. It actually tasted better the next day haha. I also got egg drop soup, which was very tasty. I got steamed dumplings as well. FINALLY! A good Chinese takeout place while away from home. The food was a great temperature when it arrived. Wonton soup had a great broth and 5 wontons in a pint, complete with crunchy noodles. Chicken and broccoli was great; egg roll crunchy and not soggy. BIGGEST CRAB RANGOONS I've ever had. General Tso's chicken was good, but still not as good as home. If you're in Lexington and looking for good Chinese takeout, look no further! Even got some "thank you" Chinese donuts with my order. Would definitely eat here again!

I have been ordering a lot of food for delivery lately. I buy from Happy China once a week now and I love it! Food is very consistent and delicious. There is always enough food for several meals.
The food usually arrives ahead of scheduled for delivery.

Well last night I ordered from this place for the first time, delivery and I was super super pleased. I got SO MUCH FOOD for a low price and delivery was fast. They brought my food in a box and included lots of sauce and even four free donuts and a free wooden Chinese calendar. Wow!

Let's talk about the food. I wanted the classic: pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, beef dumplings and an egg roll. I was not disappointed. Everything was delicious and the portions were massive. They crammed it in the boxes and there was so much food that I'll be eating it for days. Can't wait to order

I ordered the steamed dumplings and the beef with broccoli. On a Friday night I have to say my delivery came faster than I thought it would.
The dumplings while tasty had a thick dough, I prefer a thinner dough. The beef and broccoli was really good. The portion was more than adequate to split with another person.
I'll definitely order from them again!

Awesome people and they always make great food with low amounts of excess oil and proper amounts of sauce and heat.

We have ordered several things off the menu and often we ask for more spice or for dietary reasons to hold some ingredients. They're always on point!

I have other places closer to home but Happy Chinese makes a happy family and their clean cooking makes a happy tummy.
