I've truly loved living at Vintage at the Grove, and am only leaving to move in with my partner. Otherwise I would happily stay!
This community is fantastic. Maintenance comes to fix any of my issues (broken towel rack, normal wear and tear things) quickly and is always polite; they wave when they see me around and I always wave back :) The office staff is super helpful with any questions. The grounds are always beautiful and well-kept. My neighbors, and the whole community, are generally quiet and the units have good sound-proofing, which is great for working from home. I feel very safe here

Roger, as usual, did excellent work to resolve our dryer handle problem,which prevented us from opening the dryer door. Temporarily, we used a lot of duct tape to prevent the broken handle from falling off instead of opening the dryer door.

I lived at Vintage for almost 3 years in a one bedroom apartment. The apartment itself was comfortable with a large kitchen and well thought out layout. The complex is very dog friendly which was a big plus for us and our two dogs. Maintenance was fast to respond to requests, however most times the fix was more of a bandaid. Overall, pleasant experience but we were happy we were already planning to leave when we found out the rent prices increased 10%.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Vintage at the Grove. Carrie, Daniel, Patti, and Robyn are all wonderful and a joy to work with. I seldom had issues with my apartment and when I did, they were quickly resolved. The apartments themselves as well as the community is beautiful and well maintained. I would consider this complex the ideal place to rent for those who value their time and are looking for a peaceful environment to live. Highly recommend.

I made call to ask questions about the apartments, the lady that helped me out was awesome. You know when sometimes you ask too many questions, your annoying yourself. Well this was the case. I wish I had her name but she was friendly, knew all the answers to my questions and easy. I work in customer service and this was 100% great customer service over the phone..

I've lived at the Vintage at the Grove for the past 4 years and absolutely loved living there. From the friendly staff, to the yearly updates that occur at the property, my time spent here has been great. In the past 2 years they've added a beautiful new patio and a gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs around it, and two new gas grills, and this year they resurfaced and re-tiled the pool which looks awesome. The grounds of the property is always beautiful, they take great care of this place. Whenever I've had a maintenance issue the maintenance team has always responded quickly

I have lived in pretty much every state in North East region in dozens of communities but this is by far my best experience living in any luxury communities at such reasonable rates. I recently got a job in Springfield which is additional commute but continue to live here as it's really tough to find anything better.
The management team works really hard, around the clock, to make it a home for all residents.They know all residents by name (don't know how they do that). They always go above and beyond to provide a friendly, clean and safe environment. Did I mention same day maintenance

I've lived here for two years and have nothing but positive things to say. My apartment is quiet and noise has never been an issue. It actually feels like I don't even have neighbors at all. The pool is beautiful and there's usually at least one chair open even on busy days to enjoy it. I've personally never felt unsafe at all, and just make sure that I keep my car locked like I would anywhere. Management has been kind and helpful throughout my stay here. I'm sad to leave but am relocating closer to work, otherwise I would stay!

My boyfriend and I have been here for over a year and it's the best apartment complex we've ever lived in. The management is extremely friendly and they always greet us by name. Maintenance does a great job of fixing things promptly - even if it's just a light bulb. I really enjoy the security of the mail/package room. It's great to live in a community where you don't have to be afraid of people stealing your packages. The pool and gym are great as well, there's always people using them, us included. We love living at Vintage!

Avoid! We moved to Connecticut on short notice due to a job transfer and had one 36 hour trip to pick a place to live. So we picked Vintage and it was a massive mistake. The day we were supposed to move in they closed early without telling us (even though we had confirmed a few days before), the walls are paper thin so we can hear every word of the tv shows our upstairs neighbors are watching and now they are refusing packages unless you pay them $10 per month to rent a locker. They have sent out marketing materials for their ridiculous locker service but no notice that everything would be returned

They are essentially scammers. They don't refund your deposits and cite trivial issues to charge you for replacement costs. They charged me all of 1 months rent $1500 for move out. I have a traveling job and have rented in multiple locations across US. Deposits were never an issue. This apartment was the first to report any such problems.

I have been living at the Grove for a little over 1.5 years. Safety has become a big issue lately, and it is only going downhill. There have been 3 thefts in the community in the past few months. All four tires of the cars were stolen from the building parking lots. My garage door was also left open at the night of the theft. There might have been more incidents. The management never alerts residents about such incidents. I have gotten in touch with them regarding it more than once. No response!

I've lived at Vintage at The Grove for 2 years. It's quiet, the residents are friendly and professional, and the management staff is responsive. I am very particular about where I live and typically critical of management companies. Vintage held their end of the deal and I would definitely recommend doing business with them. The only downside is that rent is expensive. However, you get what you pay for and I do not regret for one moment the amount I pay for live in comfort.

I have lived in many apartments throughout the years and by far the Vintage at the Grove is the best apartment complex in Manchester, CT for a good price. The location and apartment design are nice, but I am very unhappy with the ridiculous extra fees that keep getting added on. The amenities fee ($300) used to be a one-time fee, but now they changed it to yearly. They now added a garbage fee but do not even put it to proper use. I loved this place, I lived here for over 6 years and never had any complaints. Yes it's a bit pricey, but the safety and comfort of the area as well as the look of the complex and your specific apartment is definitely worth it. It's not your cookie cutter square room, each option has the feel of a real house. I lived in a pet friendly building and rarely heard any noise. I lived at Vintage at the Grove for 2 years. I really enjoyed my time there until their new management firm took over. I am in commercial real estate so I am aware of standards at real estate management firms. The staff is completely unresponsive and the personnel answering the phones are extremely unhelpful. Good luck with the move out process too. They were extremely rude and gave me the round about. The 4 rating is for the apartment itself, but I'd rate the staff a 2 at most.

I lived at Vintage for 2 years, my bf for 4. There has been a serious turnover in management...previous management started changing a year ago and has gone downhill ever since. The units are in need of upgrade and repair even though at quick glance they appear to be nice. Rent is expensive for the area (although it is one of the better complexes in Manchester ). Parking is abysmal at most buildings and management ignores/evades federally mandated ADA accessibility issues. Snow removal is atrocious. I am shocked to see the negative reviews about Vintage at the Grove. I moved here over a year ago and was very attracted to Vintage because of their accommodating, friendly staff and the gracious help that maintenance staff gave me while I was relocating. They were patient with me while I was making my choices of a home and were willing to show me all that was available for my time frame to move. The worst place I've ever had the pleasure of NOT staying in. My girlfriend rented a place here and I visited her very often as I work out of new haven and the Hartford area. They harassed us about my coming to see her. The maintenance crew are super creeps, you see them filling there trucks with old tenants appliances they may have forgotten to take. They talk loud in the morning and stare at every female that comes by, The office is never open when it should be. Forget getting your packages. I lived at the Vintage for 6 months. I chose it because it allowed me to do a short term lease. My experience there was okay, no major issues. My move-out experience was HORRIBLE. I accidentally overpaid by around $200. I confirmed with several staff members multiple times that they reflected a credit on my account and I would receive a check up on move-out. I moved out and left the apartment in pristine condition with not a single issue. After move-out, I called to see about my check. Turns out they came up with exactly $200 in b-sh** charges so i got a check for 0.28 cents. They robbed

Pros: The newest property in Manchester. Apartments are well maintained. Noise...there is none unless you're in the halls. I live in a dog building and I hear nothing from my neighbors. The maintenance team is awesome. The office peps are always friendly. My apartment is huge.
Cons: Parking. You can rent a garage and we do but a lot of people use their garage for storage and parking next to your building can be a problem. More so in the winter because of snow. Rent is not cheap. You pay for the "newness" of the property
