I've been happy to call Rollin Street Flats home for the last 3 years. The apartments are well built and sound proof. The location is absolutely top notch.
The biggest highlight of living here is the staff. They are always friendly and helpful, and they keep connected with the community to understand the needs of the residents. Over the last couple of years, the staff has constantly delivered on improvements that residents have requested including common area renovations and top of the line locker and entry systems.

Great building, spacious floor plans, friendly and super helpful management staff!
Been living here for almost 2 years and it's been such a great experience. The building is very secure, has a great location (close to whole foods and the lake!), and has good amenities- gym, basketball court, residents lounge, package room, and maintenance support. The apartment itself is spacious, huge patios, lots of natural light, and has gas stoves!

My partner moved here since summer 2019 after 2 months of seeing every downtown condo unit. We’re now so spoiled by the quality of the place and location that we don’t want to move until we buy a home.
Some of our favorite things that we couldn’t find elsewhere for the price:
• Thick soundproof walls: We’re always surprised how we don’t hear our loud TV or music in the hallway.
• Gas Stove: ‘nuff said.
• Construction quality: High ceilings, big glass windows for light, spacious balcony.
• Dog-friendly: Our dog is so at home here. He loves visiting everyone in the management

Love this apartment. The location is great! It's quiet but there's all the neccessary amenities nearby. There is a Wholefoods and H-mart right outside the building, a bunch of different cafe options about a 5mins walk away, dentist and medical centre, all walking distance away. The management is responsive and great, and there are always activities and guest events happening if you enjoy those things as well.

Been living here since the past 6 months and absolutely love it! Where do I even begin:
Firstly, the location! Right next to Whole Foods, and a block from Denny park, Rollin Street Flats is situated in walking distance of everything you’d need. We enjoy walking to cafes, restaurants and bars around at all hours of the day given the liveliness and safety of this location.
Secondly, the apartment itself. The square footage is many times bigger than what you would get in any other apartments around. The spaciousness of the house along with the modern amenities such as AC and gas came in really

Friendly and professional building staff and great amenities! The amenities, beautiful apartments and common areas, location are obvious from online information. It is the people running this community who make living here extra special.
I moved to Seattle and Rollin Street Flats from out of state 6 months ago. I didn't want to do a house hunting trip during COVID and Jen and Amber in the leasing office were so incredibly helpful, speedy to respond, and very accommodating with somewhat in-flux move-in dates/times with out of state movers. Jen hopped on video chat with me and walked me through

Of all the places we’ve lived at before, Rollin Street Flats is definitely among the top. Extremely high quality and spacious apartments (high ceilings, thick walls), nice and friendly neighbors and the most cordial and helpful management team we’ve worked with. Great location too, close to literally everything! Rents are reasonable and good value for money with all the amenities. They also have small events from time to time to encourage socializing!

My daughter and I absolutely loved our time and our beautiful 2-bedroom unit at Rollin Street Flats. This was out second apartment building in Seattle and sincerely wish we had landed there first! The units are spacious and beautiful. More importantly, the community is very well managed by the office and made all of the difference in our experience. The staff Christopher, Jennifer and Amber treated us like valued members of the community and made us feel like we were at "home".

We lived at Rollin Street Flats for almost 3 years and it was by far the best built and managed apartment we have rented. We cannot say enough great things about the staff. Chris, Jenn, Amber and Magda are simply amazing. If we move back to Seattle, this will be my go to place to rent because of how wonderful the staff are. We miss them!

Christopher and Jennifer were tremendously helpful getting settled at Rollin Street. They were super understanding about my transition requirements given my existing lease. They were able to find great options and provide useful recommendations for all of my moving needs. I really can't say enough nice things about my experience. They were willing to go the extra mile to assist me, which is a rare find in the Seattle rental market 6/5.

We lived in this building for the 2 years we lived in Seattle. Beautiful loft style apartments with the right amount of amenities that you'll actually use. Office staff is polite, responsive, and always helpful. (Extra shout out to Christopher and Jen). We'll miss living there

Amazing place to live!

I've only been here a couple months but love it so much. Apartments are very spacious and well laid out with lots of ammenities! The building is beautiful, clean, and well designed. It's close to downtown, the freeway, and right in between other fun neighborhoods in Seattle. What really makes the building special though is the leasing staff, they are simply amazing. Mario, Jen and Chris go out of their way to show kindness to residents and offer help when needed! Would highly recommend moving in here!

I love this complex! I just renewed my lease here and this is why:
- Leasing office staff rocks. They are always there to help, and they've had the same people my 15 months of living here (which I never had at my previous complex)
- AIR CONDITIONING. I have a Nest in my apartment and central AC is game changing
- bathroom size - you could fit a twin bed in here tbh
- Location - next to Whole Foods, tons of restaurants, and I-5 & I-99
- Normal sized parking spaces - last place I lived was a joke. Was convinced I'd scrape my car. I now have a space that has plenty of room!
- Quality

I recently moved from Texas to seattle. Apartment sizes were definitely a thing my wife and I had to modulate our thinking. In our search throughout SLU area, we came across this property and fell in love with the open nature of the floor plans, location and amenities. This apartment is built like a condo, so unlike other apartments walls are not paper thin and all the fixtures used in the apartment are built to last.
Leasing office staff is super helpful and front office definitely go above and beyond to help anyone and build relationship with existing and potential residents.

Friendly and responsive service from the guy and gal of the front office. She was friendly to my dog every time she sees us - something I appreciate. He is experienced, kind, and professional in his practice. The duo team will make you feel you comfortable and your apartment touring experience a pleasurable one! Their flats for rent are huge in sq footage and spacious in layout, making a good bang for your buck. If we hadn't already signed with Kiara Luxury or that we needed more space, Rolling Street would be a top contender in a heart beat as we love flats and their sq footage offering,

In June my husband and I applied for an apartment, they didn't give us an answer until two weeks later; only after we emailed them. Ultimately we decided not to take the apartment because they took to long to respond and we found something else.

We asked for our deposit back and they said they were updating their software and they would process it in a couple of days, but they didn't. After that we send emails asking about it, and they ignored them. We went to the leasing office, they said they would give us our money back, and they haven't.

I have lived in similar apartments to Rollin Street in the past and had expected that the experience would be great, and when I leased my unit, the people that worked in the office were friendly. It was a very false first impression.

There is a 40-story high rise that is currently under construction behind the building. There is currently a park in front of the building, which allows for a great view of the Space Needle. That will be going away soon because there are 4 buildings that are going to be constructed, including a 40-story high rise.

There were multiple times where dogs had accidents

My husband and I lived at Rollin Street for 4 and a half years and absolutely loved every minute of it. It was so nice to be able to walk down to the lake for 4th of July Fireworks, look out your window to celebrate The New Year, step outside to the Farmers Market on Terry Avenue, jump on the bus for a quick ride to the Seattle Center or hop on the trolley to see the lighting of the tree at Westlake Center. The apartments are top notch with large windows, wood floors, high end appliances, A\C, which I might add is hard to find in Seattle apartments, a very large bathroom and are relatively sound

Fellow renters,

Please scroll down and read all of the reviews that Riverstone doesn't want you to see. Click on the other reviews that are not currently recommended by yelp. I can't believe these are NOT factored into their rating! Those are the real deal.

Horrible experience at Rollin Street Flats. DON'T DO IT! Guaranteed rent increase every year at about 20%.

Looks are deceiving, it's a nice building but NOT worth the stress of dealing with the horrible management company, Riverstone Management. Google Riverstone. They have and F rating with the Better Business

I relocated from San Francisco to work for Amazon to live in Seattle. In the week before I started my new job, I visited 22-26 buildings in the area, from South Lake Union to Queen Anne, and found this property to be the best over-all value:

- Sleek, modern apartment with scandinavian kitchens and gas ranges
- Thick walls and concrete floor (great sound barriers)
- Lofted ceilings (12-13 ft)
- Dog washing station (I used for scuba gear)
- Three fast elevators, one that can be reserved for move-in
- Excellent location: Amazon, whole foods, gyms, bars, restaurants, park, all within a 4 block radius

I'm married to the guy who just reviewed, so perhaps this review will be redundant. My opinion is that this is a great building in a great location. There are challenges, but what rental property doesn't have challenges?

The building is located in an up-and-coming downtown area. Per the earlier reviews, yes, there is construction and the rent is going up. But when we first looked at the building back in 2010, there was literally nothing in the neighborhood. Amazon came in and with it came higher rents and construction, but also commerce - so now there are an ever-growing pile of restaurants
