I started lifting in our home gym as a high school football player with my dad. I participated in a few bodybuilding comps and quickly learned it wasn't for me as I saw all the drugs, supplements, injections, and "enhancements" floating around. I bowed out as fast as I learned about these steroids.

Rather, I learned about nutrition and how important it was especially prepping/before competitions. My mom and I soon owned and operated a Gold's Gym for some years and soon after selling it- decided to go to nursing school. I worked as an ICU surgical nurse in GA for about 10 years and by the end of my career- I collected the knowledge I needed to know to be a true fitness trainer!

Troy and Jemma are very knowledgeable trainers who truly want to see you succeed! In just over a month's time I have lost weight I thought I could never lose, gained muscle, and improved my overall endurance. You will work muscles you didn't know you had and say good bye to any muscular imbalances with their training sessions.
1. Preheat over to 350 & start by combining your flour mix and melted butter. Stir until crumbly yet combined. 2. Line a muffin pan with paper or silicone cupcake liners & press about 1tsp of your crust mix into each liner. 3. Let these crusts bake in the over for about 5min or until they've turned golden brown.

Troy and Jemma are awesome! They offer functional training which is strength training with some cardio built in. They change up the workout each time, so there is never a dull moment, and they really work you! They are positive, motivating, and funny! I have been going there for over a year and would highly recommend that you try it out!

Don't bother wasting your time looking at 49er Fit, Total Womens, TruFusion or any other workout studio in the Campbell/Saratoga area. I've done the legwork for you and trust me Phillips Fitness is the place to be!
Troy and Jemma are a Power Couple. You're not just a number to them. They truly get to know you and care about you, your goals, your health challenges, and soon understand what makes you tick.
I do a mix of personal training sessions and group sessions (Squad). I love how small and personalized their group sessions are. They keep you motivated, always have a variety

I'm so glad I found Phillips Fitness (thanks to Yelp!)! Troy and Jemma are top notch personal trainers, with a deep knowledge of exercise physiology and an undeniable commitment to their clients in our quest to get stronger and healthier. They are patient, encouraging, resourceful and fun! Their clientele are friendly and helpful to each other as well. Very pleasant family like smaller group workout environment. Also offer 2:1 or 1:1 private and personal trainings. As a morning person, I've been enjoying the early morning workout sessions. They make my day many times! Troy and Jemma are creative in designing the workout plans, never boring, always motivating. Not to mention the nice workout pals. Come to try out for free and get feelings yourself.

Troy & Jemma run some really great group fitness classes. I really liked the variety of different functional exercises that we performed during each session. No one workout is ever the same. Both are very encouraging and supportive throughout the session. The investment I've made in myself and with them is paying dividends. I strongly encourage anyone interested in improving their life and physical conditioning to come experience everything the Phillips Fitness has to offer!

I have been attending Phillips Fitness since March and couldn't be happier! In 4 months I have noticed improvements in my strength, cardio, and physique. Before coming to PF, I found myself overwhelmed by crowded gyms and a barrage of fitness information. Fortunately, Troy and Jemma take out the guesswork! All you have to do is show up!

A friend of mine urged me to give this gym a try. I found that Jemma and Troy offer quality instruction in a fun environment. I took advantage of their free one-week trial and never once did they repeat exercises. So sorry that I didn't join sooner!

I was looking for an exercise class that would help me get started and work towards better physical fitness- with Troy and Gemma I found it!!! They are wonderful and their approach is towards getting you there at your own pace. I really love how they keep you motivated and their holistic philosophy towards fitness. Troy, Jemma and Karen are great trainers who understand your limitations but keep pushing you to do more.

They find a way to keep it interesting with tweaks to normal exercises and the use of straps and weights and other training items.

This is another long overdue review since i could never figure out where to start. I regularly attended Phillips Fitness for over 3 years which is the longest I ever stayed at one gym. They are knowledgeable, motivating and just good energy to be around. I first decided to try this gym because of close proximity to where I lived, but I continued going because of the dynamic, always-changing interval training, small classes, and the encouraging gym-family vibe that grows along with your muscles while you workout together. I've been going to Phillips Fitness for about three years. Prior to that, I had been a member of various gyms... the YMCA, Right Stuff, etc. The problem was always motivation and boredom. I never really liked going, and was inconsistent.

Phillips Fitness is entirely different. They have regular scheduled, small group sessions where you work on cardio and strength training. They do not have machines like tradition gyms, where you sit down and work on one specific muscle. They generally focus on one general area per workout (upper body, legs, abs), but it always includes exercises that include

Before joining Phillips Fitness- I hated exercising. I tried everything before- gyms, running, workout videos, etc... nothing motivated me, nothing stuck, nothing worked and I would fall back into my lazy lifestyle. After gaining weight and not feeling happy with the direction I was going, I decided to give a personal trainer a shot to help guide me. The owners, Troy and Jemma (a married couple) are good peeps. We primarily worked out with Troy, so that is the experience that the rest of my review will focus on...

Troy is a fantastic trainer and a genuinely nice guy! My wife and I have loved working out with him over the past six months. He provides us with the motivation to come back each day :-) He has a vast breadth of knowledge and is always quick with a modification if the particular exercise is not suitable for whatever reason. He has a great sense of humor, which really important to me, as joking around makes life better.

This gym and the trainers are amazing. The atmosphere brings you a comfortable environment to get a good work out and the people at the gym become like family helping you push through workouts! I started sluggish didn't know how to do any of the workouts and the trainers Troy and Jemma definitely got the ball rolling for me had the patience to teach me step by step, give me the motivation I needed. I continue to go on Wednesdays and Fridays and always have the drive to want more. They also have private sessions if you don't feel comfortable joining a class.

Joining Phillips Fitness was definitely a game changer for me so I have to give it 5 stars and recommend that EVERYONE tries it! This is no ordinary gym though, let me tell you! It's more like a one-stop shop for feeling great about yourself.

The workouts are broken up into a circuit type session that use a variety of equipment such as suspension straps, punching bags, kettle bells, stability balls and so much more! You'll get to try so many workouts that you'll never be bored coming to these squad sessions!

The best part about Phillips Fitness is definitely the trainers! Jemma
