When my stylist of 25 years moved away, I was lost. I tried recommendations from friends and did find a good hair cutter, but I couldn't find anyone to color my hair. Finally, I called the manufacturer of the color that I liked, and they told me that Da Pietro uses the brand. I made an appt and was referred to Antonio. I've been going to him ever since! He does a really beautiful job with my color. I couldn't wait to get back after the pandemic and my hair looks rich and healthy again!

I had a coupon and needed a balayage touch up. I showed the stylist a photo of what I wanted and he wound up making the look even better! the color of my balayage fits my skin tone and looks great. He even took the time to suggest a shampoo for me and gave me one upon leaving! The stylist who washed my hair and helped with my balayage (I have extremely long hair) was also so kind and professional. Definitely Recommended for coloring. Thank you Da Pietro!

Went in for a haircut, balayage, and scalp massage and the process took over 6 hours for my hair to look like garbage. At first, the front of my hair, was really red and the back had blonde highlights. Came back a few days later to have the front retouched so it is the same color as the back. However, in the process my hairdresser grabbed even more strands of my natural black hair and now the front of may hair is blonde unevenly, barely can see my natural hair color, nothing like the picture of what I wanted. Last but not least, didn't even get a scalp massage. Overall, a botched job. Def

I made an appointment somewhere else but they cancelled on me so I came here. They took me without any reservation very quickly! Antonio didn't seem very friendly but I didn't mind until he started tugging at my ears trying to get the cotton to stay on my head.. I was getting a perm.
He cut it very nicely but when I left my head felt so sticky from the product he used. I had been out of time and living in California and when I came back I remembered the excellent work and hair cute and color I had experienced there! I realized that there was a groupon that happens to been offered and I called them! They were so sweet and allows me to come back and use the grouppn even though it was normally for new customers! The woke was beyond amazing and rocko cuts hair like no I'm else! It's very Italian! Lovely neighborhood area and laid back and fun! If you want precision work with fair and reasonable prices this is where to go!

Love this salon! I've been going here for the past 2 years I only see Amy she is kind and sweet and knows how to listen to what I want. I appreciate that she is also honest with me about what would looks best. I have curly, thick hair that is down the middle of my back and she has done a great job coloring and styling it.

Whoever answers the phone is extremely rude. And also be aware ladies, if you're buying groupon, they will make you come on a specific day of the week. you cannot choose your day even if you call well in advance. I called to book Tuesday for my appointment (which is not even a rush day since its middle of the week) and I was told I can only choose Monday or Wednesday. I cancelled my purchase and got Groupon credits.

I'm a young conservatively styled guy. I've just had my hair-cut and Antonio gave me a very nice, styled, conservative hair cut. i usual cut my hair with clippers at home and came here for a professional cut for my wedding. I didn't have many requirements, just that it be easy to redo the next day and easy to manage. I got what i wanted. He took his time and i could see that he made sure my hair was cut properly and with a natural look.

They get one star because yelp doesn't have an option for none, and because I never got a chance to go in. I had heard from friends and yelpers that they are not very nice to people who purchase deals, but I didn't listen. I purchased a deal for a keratin treatment and immediately called to make an appointment because I only had Saturday availability. The appointment was for two weeks from the time I called, and then I called a few days before to confirm. The day of my appointment comes and I call to see how long I should expect to be there, and they supposedly have no record of my appointment

I felt like I was right back on my little street in Roma, Medaglia D'oro, Serafina 8, that had the cutest little hair chop shop across the street.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a lovely man named Rocco (super Italiano), who met me with those lovely words in a beautiful accent -- he actually ended up being my hair dresser, which I couldn't have been more happy about. I first found out about Da Pietro through a Lifebooker deal for a blowout at an unbeatable price-- $15! I did my research and saw that the Yelp reviews were all pretty positive, which both comforted me and made me just a liiiittle bit suspicious. Why would such a well-received salon be giving such a deep discount on their services? But it was the holidays and I wanted to look all fancy on New Year's Eve so I went ahead and booked the appointment.

I went here for deep conditioning and blow-dry. Made an appointment on a Sunday at 5pm. When I arrived, they were already expecting me. The girl who greeted me was named Frida, and a sweetheart! She took my jacket, offered me a drink and picked out some magazines for me to read. It's great to be pampered every once in a while.

My hair was done by Jasna at this salon and it was, by far, the BEST haircut and color that I've ever gotten. She was kind, polite and very helpful in pricing.
