Baker Street Yoga opened its doors in 2009, and it's grown a lot since then. We're a laid-back group of friendly people, and we practice yoga with a curious, open-minded attitude. Vinyasa Flow is a powerful style of yoga that links dynamic poses and transitions through breath. Students of all levels are encouraged to attend our classes.

People love our yoga studio for the community. We're a group of laid-back, friendly wellness enthusiasts, and we love to have a good time. We always offer safe, accessible and enjoyable yoga classes, but each of us teaches differently. Some of our yoga teachers are more fitness-oriented; others are more spiritual.

Amazing yoga studio in the heart of Maplewood. Classes are designed for all levels of yogis. The environment is warm, welcoming and friendly. It is a great studio to reconnect with yourself and others. Love it!

As someone who has practiced yoga for about 15 years I've tried a lot of studios and teachers. I finally found my home at Baker Street! This studio has the perfect mix of teachers and class offerings - truly somethig for everyone. The classes range from simply great yoga workouts, to more meditative strength training. When they say all levels are welcome, they mean it. There's not a trace of the intensity or scrutiny I've seen at other studios. It's a warm, welcoming and SUPER FUN studio.

A beautiful and homey place to practice - this place got me in shape post-baby and has been relaxing my body and mind for years now. They made it through Covid with grace and patience and safety - I missed it so much I went there the literal day my vaccination was finalized!

This place is the “Cheers Bar” of Yoga Studios where you feel like home and everybody knows your name. It’s an excellent place to visit for physical and mental health. Get to know the owners Lisa and Blake. They will make you feel welcome every time (and you’ll feel amazing after sweating it out too!)

Good studio, sometimes a bit too warm, great instructors but unfortunately parking in the Maplewood village is an absolute nightmare and there are never any spots open.

Baker Street Yoga is a friendly, warm (pun intended), inclusive place to practice yoga. The instructors are incredibly accommodating to people at all levels. As a newbie, they give me less difficult options and correct my form without being condescending. They also give more experienced practitioners options so that they are maximizing their work out too.

Great studio with warm, knowledgeable instructors. Claire and Blake really go out of their way to help each student feel welcome and advance in her practice. Mel and Lisa M are also wonderful. Overall a nice balance between asana and the non-physical aspects of yoga.

Dropped in on a number of classes while I was in Maplewood staying at my grandma's house. The studio is small and cozy (which means getting creative when 22+ bodies are in the room). The instructors were so lovely and I immediately felt welcomed into the community at this studio. Blake is a wonderful instructor and really puts together a beautiful practice for her students. I will definitely be coming back every time I visit NJ.

The staff members are genuine yogis who truly know their stuff. Each employee brings a new sense of enlightenment and wisdom to their class helping you gain perspective. The space is tiny and cozy and an awesome environment to release your problems. Each Friday night their is a free beginner class at 7:00. There's absolutely no reason to not have gone to Baker Street Yoga yet, try it out! You won't regret it.

Really love this place. Used to go more frequently, but can't seem to go as often as I'd like with my current schedule. The teachers are very friendly. Loved Jillian when she taught there once before. Mats & other equipment are provided if you forget. Doesn't get as hot as I would like, and the temperature isn't constant throughout the entire class. Other than that, the place is clean & oozing with good vibes. Would definitely recommend it.

Came here once with a friend for their Friday night beginning's warm yoga class, which was taught by Dana Murphy.
It's a small space with just one studio for class. Doors lock promptly when class starts, so don't be late! Our class was pretty crowded, over 20 people. We had five mats per row, pushed so that if everyone sat crosslegged, you'd probably bump knees with your neighbor. But it worked out okay. Most of the people who were taking the class seemed like regulars and they were fairly friendly.
Overall, I really enjoyed the class, but I didn't really think it was

I took a class after such a long time of not doing yoga, and not long after giving birth to twins... It was my first time there and i was nervous. The teacher was so welcoming and gracious, made me totally feel at ease. There was no pretension whatsoever, and the class was great. I felt energized and positive. The location is lovely, clean and fresh smelling, and really organized. Its a great studio and i will be back for sure.

I cannot say enough about this studio. I am drawn to yoga for less of a body shaping result and more for the spiritual transformation that happens. The body is just an added benefit. I have found it a bit difficult to find a studio in the area that focuses on the meditation of the practice first and foremost. This one is it for sure. I would go every day if I could! Thank you Baker Street!

I've been all over the area looking for a yoga studio that I love, Baker Street is perfect. This place is full of good energy and karma. The instructors are excellent, I've always loved the classes. Everyone is welcomed and made to feel part of the family by the instructors, owners and students. It's not a 'scene' so don't feel like you have to come all decked out. But you will sweat and get a great workout!
