Services
You are always welcome to come as you are to 3 Bridges Yoga! We are an accessible, empowering, and heart-based school of yoga, made up of teachers, practitioners, and teachers-in-training, each walking the path of practice in our own unique way. You will find all levels of practice, all ages, all body types, and people from all walks of life practicing on the mat beside you in each of our light-filled spaces.
3 Bridges Yoga offers classes for all levels of practice. We are a drop in studio so you don't have to preregister for regular classes. Brand new or out of practice students are encouraged to take a beginners class to acquaint themselves with the principles of yoga. 3 Bridges Yoga is recommended for those 18 years of age and older.
Stephanie Paolini is an E-RYT 200 and the owner of 3 Bridges Yoga serving the Portsmouth, NH and York, ME communities. She took her first yoga class in 2005 and knew it would be a practice she would have with her for the rest of her life. Stephanie trained at the renowned Yoga Tree studio in San Francisco with the intent purely to learn more about the practice of yoga.
Whether you find yourself by the beaches in York or on the cobblestone streets of Portsmouth, you'll be welcomed with the same good vibration, the same skillful instruction, and you'll leave with the same renewal of body and mind. Our first studio opened in March of 2011 and is conveniently located at 185 High St. in downtown Portsmouth, NH.
New students should arrive 15-20 minutes before class to check in and get acclimated to the studio. Regular attendees should arrive no earlier than 30 minutes and no later than 5 minutes before class to avoid disruption. Find the appropriate balance of effort and ease in the pose. Yoga works best when you can breathe and be stable while finding the right amount of effort and challenge.

Got the 2 week vacation pass while I was visiting my grandparents in mid August and it was totally worth it. I love the variety of classes that this studio offers, and always left feeling rejuvenated and like I had put a good effort into class! The instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable, and I loved how well they incorporated the meditative spiritual aspects with the physical benefits.
Will definitely visit this the next time I'm in town!

Super welcoming studio for a yoga newbie like me. Each practice is unique, focused, and I always leave in a better state (both mentally and physically - still working on my spirituality haha). Nothing better than awakening your day at 7 am yoga, catching a noon class to reset your mind on a stressful workday, or ending a weekend with some restorative Sunday evening yoga!

I bought the traveling yogi deal for my week in Portsmouth and could not have been happier with it! Coming from Burlington where there are yoga studios on every street, I had high expectations and they were most definitely exceeded at 3 Bridges. The instructors are all creative, unique, friendly, and super welcoming in this beautiful community. Each class I took was different and equally challenging, as well as refreshing. Their yoga classes incorporate flow with strength poses and relaxing stretches. I hope to return whenever I am in the Portsmouth area!

I have done very little yoga in the past; I practiced at home watching videos online. I met Marla through a mutual friend and decided to take a class. I felt a little nervous since I went alone and didn't know anyone but I felt fine after starting.
It is a very clean, well equipped, comfortable studio. I brought my own mat but if you forgot yours, they have some there along with blocks and straps.
You don't feel pressured to do moves that you are not skilled in and the whole vibe is great. I have a lot of tension in my muscles from stress and it literally all washed away after the

This is a wonderful yoga studio! I tried their special while on vacation and I only wish the studio was closer to my home. The teachers were all very talented, warm and welcoming and the studio is bright and airy. There are plenty of mats and supplies. I really enjoyed the classes a lot and I tend to be kind of particular about yoga studios. This one I can honestly say I cannot say enough good about. There are many classes and the atmosphere is energetic and non judgemental.

Sooo grateful to have three bridges in portsmouth and York. The teachers are amazing, each with their own style and gifts. Each have added a great deal to my practice on and off the mat. Marla always offers a new perspective and cosmic appreciation, Jo makes the impossible seem reachable, and Jody is always great for a good sweat and a laugh. I always leave class a better version of myself.

Upon visiting their website we found an amazing deal for first timers. It sounded too good to be true and of course it was. The original deal was $20 for two weeks worth of yoga classes. We showed up early to sign in and the two clerks were not friendly at all. I told them about the deal and because our ID's were not from New Hampshire we wouldn't be able to take advantage of the deal. I told them we would be in the area for a while and wanted to check out the area first before committing to more classes. They blamed their boss and there was a lack of customer service. Being that we would

I recently started up with yoga again so stopped in here while in town for vacation.
The class was packed on Christmas Eve morning (an "every body" class) and the instructor was sweet and friendly. The price is fair ($13/class, first time is $13 for three classes over a month). The studio and mats were clean and not smelly (yay! I was afraid of having to borrow a smelly mat).
I was impressed with my classmates because it seemed like almost everyone else was able to solidly do poses that I needed to modify or skip completely. There wasn't much instruction about how to modify

Run, don't walk to 3 bridges.
After a few months of trying to find the "right" yoga studio in Portsmouth, I happened upon 3 Bridges. Practice is great, definitely a work out, but incredibly relaxing. Energy and light in space are amazing. No attitude, no unrealistic expectations. If instructor knows you are a beginner, they guide their instructions accordingly.
Space is pristine, light, They have plenty of mats, towels, straps and blocks - also there's a fair amount of free parking which is a huge plus downtown.
All instructors are great. Each bringing something different

The best yoga studio in Portsmouth! I've tried them all and 3 Bridges has the best classes, the best teachers, the cleanest studio, and the best prices! 3 Bridges is perfect for any level of practice - even if it's your first time, you'll feel comfortable and at ease. And more advanced students will definitely still feel challenged.

This is a great new studio in Portsmouth! The space is beautiful, the people welcoming and the classes are fun, challenging and accessible. I felt welcome immediately and there seems to be a really great community! They have really good prices ($10 drop-in is the cheapest in town) and classes in the morning at 7 am and even at noon.
There is a wide variety of people attending classes: from men & women, older and younger. They really are catering to Every Body (as their brand of yoga suggests).
