OK, very early this year I was trying to come up with new outdoor hobbies after feeling like I had been "shut in" last year due to Covid. I teach yoga, and had heard of people doing yoga on Stand Up Paddleboards. I did a little internet search and found Portsmouth Paddle Co. I bought a 10'6," and it is the best board I've ever been on. It is a world of difference. I am not a confident paddler. When renting, I usually spend the first 15 minutes feeling uncomfortable and shaky, and the last half-hour with sore feet. When using my board for the first time, I was amazed at how comfortable and stable I felt. The board feels very stable yet reactive, and it was surprising to me that these two properties did not contradict each other. It is all about the slightly curved bottom surface. My mom pre-ordered a board as a birthday/graduation present for me in March and we got it just in time for the summer! I’ve found they have some of the highest quality boards for the fairest prices. The pre-ordering process was super easy and the staff even gave us a call to help make sure we were buying the right size board. After our first time using the board we lost the fin. (I did not install it right) When we went back to get a new one the staff was all super friendly and extremely helpful. They showed us how to properly install a fin and gave helpful tips on how to take care of it. We

My friends and I took a sunset tour and it was an amazing experience. The boards were high quality, the setting was perfection and our guide Mia was fun, sweet, gave us a lot of great information about the area was and so patient with us as we asked her to take a million photos. We can’t wait to do this again!

I contacted Wes + Ian one evening trying to track down a VESL. They had it in stock, along with many other options to choose from and made sure I was set up with the correct length. Both are super friendly and knowledgable. I put a deposit on it that night and was able to pick it up the next morning.
They went above and beyond to accommodate me quickly, even in the midst of covid.
My board is gorgeous. The quality and aesthetic supersedes every other board I had been considering until that point. Added bonus, I got to support a local shop.

Both Wes and Ian were awesome at Portsmouth Paddle - super accommodating and knowledgable. We wound up purchasing a high quality product with excellent reviews at a reasonable price. I am so happy we heard about this company and can't wait to put our beautifully made new paddle boards in the water! After going to Portsmouth Paddle, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else for a paddle board.
