Services
Pilates is a form of exercise that streamlines the body through posture alignment and muscular balance. Deep physical concentration and breath work produce a focused workout that strengthens the abdominal/core muscles, resulting in incredible body awareness. This in turn takes the strain off joints, releasing chronic pockets of pain in common areas such as the lower back, hips, knees and neck.

I went into the session with a very negative approach when I first started that this exercise program would help with my broken body from many years of abuse and injuries from martial arts, military, and security work. I strength train and was looking for something to 'mix it up'. Tried pilates at a couple of other locations then found an intro deal for GymWithin. I see Karyn twice a week and she is worth it! There are some standard exercises but she always mixes it up, challenges me and keeps the sessions interesting. Karyn is an attentive, skilled, very particular instructor. I love the fact that she wants me to work correctly vs watching the clock and flying through moves right or wrong. Karyn is a rockstar Pilates teacher! I moved to the East side and tried almost every Pilates teacher near my new place and she's so good that I now travel 30mins cross town each way just to see her. Best thing about her is that the Pilates sessions get more interesting & productive as time goes by. Have been a client of hers for more than a year now. She plays great music during the sessions too!

I have such gratitude for Karyn and her assistance to keep my body strong and lithe. I haven't done Pilates for over 4 years and in only one session I noticed a change in my posture! Since then I am thrilled with Karyn's approach and bed side manners when she teaches. She makes me FEEL my body and how it works in conjunction with synergy. As a runner and a generally active person, I can say that Pilates is a perfect compliment to my training regimen. But I think it is a great activity for anyone, regardless of lifestyle of fitness.
