First time we stopped in and it was great. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a great selection of treats. We ended up staying for breakfast (was just going to swing by and get some gluten free pastries). My wife had a sausage (homemade) breakfast biscuit (homemade onion cheddar) sandwich she said was great. I opted for a roasted veggie crustless quiche and it was fantastic (red peppers, zucchini, butternut squash). We both grabbed some coffee too which was also good. They don’t have items labeled as gluten free (likely because of legal requirements to claim that), however, they have wheat free

Very disappointed with my quiche. I asked to have it cut into quarters. After waiting 15 minutes I was told that there was an order before mine and they were starting it now. After a few more minutes the hostess tells me that when they started to cut it, it fell apart. I said just give me a different one so I can be on my way. She said that they had already started working on a new one. I said okay. About 5 minutes later I was given a bag with my order and was on my way. Food:I ordered 18 cupcake very simple chocolate and vanilla for my son's birthday and unfortunately they were NOT good. They looked amazing but we're dryer than the sahara. may guests even commented on how they tasted frozen and most tried to politely throw theirs away. I even tried to add cream to help and it didn't. I wanted to love these but honestly could have saved myself $60 and just got ones from Fred Meyer. At least those ones are moist. The frosting was yummy but the decorations are not worth an extra $20(my decor fee was waived but I would not have paid that much for what it was had I

Lovely traditional bakery that offers a huge variety of baked goods: croissants, scones, cupcakes, cookies, cakes. They also have a breakfast / lunch menu that includes sandwiches. I had a breakfast panini and it was so warm and tasty! Definitely a place to check out if you are looking for baked goods or sandwiches in Vancouver.

This place is amazing. I tried it out for the first time and let me tell you everything was delicious. Far better than anything I've had and tops all the bakeries in the bay and in LA.
The sandwiches were so good and fresh (as well a great size), the drinks were so good and creamy and the pastries, just phenomenal.
I'm a big pastry fan and the cupcakes where amazing, moist and dense with the light frosting with just the right amount of sweetness.
I also appreciate the Cleanliness they had with their menus you're not reusing the same menu somebody else they clean them each time.
It not too pricey

While cute & cozy, Sugar and Salt bakery, in my opinion, has some work to do. From the lack-luster service to the equally "ok" food, it's just not a place for me and I'll probably not be back.
For starters, the person who took my order seemed kinda lost and out of it. Don't know if she was having a bad morning, but the customers skills weren't all there. Secondly, my wife and I ordered a couple of things which we said we would share, but extra plates and utensils were not delivered to our table; we even had to get up and get our own creamer/sugar for our coffee (the table next to us was served
