The Bovine Bakery, a from-scratch bakery, established in 1990, was an idea born from my passion and love of food, my passion for feeding others and my essential need to make a living. It was a concept which continued to gain momentum; each step of discovery opened a door of opportunity, and I continued to walk through doors until the idea became a reality.

For 25 years. I have been able to live and work in the same incredible little town of Point Reyes Station, commuting by foot or bicycle, providing a bounty of baked goods to the community, employing and training staff members and fulfilling my desire for creativity and physical and mental challenges.

Over price ham and cheese croissant, cold ham, cheese not melted and only a little of ham and cheese inside one side of croissant. On top f that I had to wait ten minutes after ordering. I did like how is was stuffed in inside the croissant.

Went to point Reyes in the off season and stayed up the road at a great hotel. First morning for sight seeing we stopped for coffee and pastries. Great coffee and blueberry croissant. Stopped there every morning next 2 days. Party of four and always excellent coffee, pastry or breakfast sandwich to start the day.

Love not just the coffee and pastries, but also the new outdoor window setup! Thanks for being conscientious about pandemic safety.

Bear claws! Seasonal fruit slippers, large pies, danishes! ALL So delicious. Like flakey, crunchie, just right sweetness. All size overly large. Line goes quickly. (Currently window counter open). Easy to find. (Street parking easy, but also overflow parking behind grocery, and super nice public bathroom block behind grocery store, which is across the street from bovine bakery)

Folks on their way through Point Reyes line up at Bovine Bakery for their favorite morning pastry. Always a great variety of sweet and savory delights to choose from. There are benches just around the corner to sit in the sun and enjoy your fresh and tasty bear claw, scone or muffin.

Nice baked goods, but sad that they will cut people off in who are already waiting in line when it's closing time. Guess the kids in the front of the shop have never heard about customer service?

This is a real gem in Olema. Called ahead and ordered a cake and a variety of sweet and savory for a weekend birthday camping trip.
This place gets busy, so get there early if you are just stopping by.

Delicious and in a cute little touristy area! Coffee and was delicious and my exact words to a friend about the lemon bar was "this must have been made with lemons from heaven."

I'm so happy we finally stopped by here today. I've been wanting to come here to try the pastries, and it turned out to be a nice treat on our way to the beach. There's a decent variety to choose from. I just had a coffee, a croissant, and split a slice of pizza with my daughter. We took some breads for the drive home.
Prices are reasonable, food is great, and they accept cards. I will be returning soon!

The coffee was amazing. The blackberry cream cheese muffin was delicious and fresh.
I also tried the chocolate cake and it was moist and delicious.
