Services
Our amazing knowledgeable teachers will give you personalized attention in class while offering safe modifications as needed. They will help you to progress to a higher level of body awareness, strength, and efficiency of movement in your everyday life. Healthy Changes Pilates has been open in Reading Ma since 2008.
If you have specific injuries, conditions, or are brand new to Pilates we suggest starting with Private sessions. Then we'll tailor a program to meet your unique needs and attend to your specific goals. If you are new to Healthy Changes, do not have specific injuries or conditions and have never taken Pilates before, please start with a Beginner Reformer Class.
Your mind body awareness will significantly enhance as you discover more integrated somatic connections during your Pilates sessions. Think of each class as a journey forward to learn something new about yourself. All classes will help to enhance your core strength and elongate muscles resulting in a stronger, taller, leaner, more energized and more flexible you.
If you are new to our studio and you have taken equipment-based Pilates classes elsewhere, you are welcome to check out our studio and take your first class for free! We offer a monthly membership option for those who would like a dedicated class time and drop in packages for a more flexible schedule.
Private Sessions are a golden opportunity to learn more about your body and alignment and will ultimately give you the fastest progression. We highly suggest Private Training if you have any injuries, conditions, or specific goals. You will have the opportunity to utilize some amazing Pilates Equipment not offered in our small group classes.

First off - this is the 1st review I have EVER posted for any service ever! And, I'm excited to leave one for such a deserving and OUTSTANDING group of people and service!! Starting with Erika as the owner and head instructor! Her knowledge and passion for wanting to help people is second to none. She makes you feel welcomed, comfortable and truly helps you to fall in love with the discipline by creating such a warm atmosphere. I've been practicing and training at Healthy Changes in Reading for one year. The studio environment is welcoming, professional, and well organised. As a mentor, manager and owner - Erika is fantastic. She has provided thoughtful guidance throughout my BASI training and created a structured program to dive deep into the repertoire. Training with BASI has been an insightful and empowering program to build my pilates career. I'm thrilled to continue to grow with BASI and apply my knowledge to clients (and myself).

I started attending classes at Healthy Changes Pilates in January and love going! Each class I attend is different and a great workout. My favorite class is multi level Chair with Lisa on Friday's at 8:00 a.m. She makes us come out of our comfort zone even if we are nervous about it! I try to make it to pilates at least twice a week and have learned something new each time.. Looking forward to many more classes in 2017!

Having taken Pilates in San Francisco and Honolulu, I never thought I would find the best Pilates instructor in the suburbs of Boston while on a trip! I’ve been taking Pilates for the past 7 months after my physical therapist suggested it to strengthen my core to relieve lower back pain caused by years of sitting at a desk with bad posture. It was difficult finding an instructor teaching a session that is both challenging and emphasized proper form. I have been going to Healthy Changes Pilates since Feb 2012. Initially I went to help build my core after a C-Section. Can not tell how much of a difference it made. I continued to work with the instructors through my second pregnancy and postpartum. Pilates truly made my recovery and ability to bounce back so much easier.
Erika and her team of instructors really work with each client. Even though you are in a class of 2-6 (depending on the class/day), you get individual attention each time. I love to switch the apparatus each time for a different approach (reformer, tower and chair)... Erika

After having two back surgeries in ten years, I became afraid to exercise. Throughout it all, the doctors and physical therapists, stressed the importance of strengthening my core. I honestly was just too afraid of making the pain I still had worse. Then I discovered Healthy Changes, it was exactly what I needed to put my fears at ease.
