FitLAB Pilates strives to bring science-based Pilates exercise methodology to our clients. Our instructors take current knowledge from biomechanics and spinal rehab and apply it to the foundation created by Joseph and Clara Pilates in the early 20th century. Pilates uses focused exercises to help correct muscular imbalances in the body and strengthen the core.
You will learn to move with more ease, reducing unnecessary tension. Pilates is an education in the finer workings of the body. That knowledge will help you improve your posture and move through life with more confidence. You can take your Pilates knowledge and apply it to any sport, or just bring new body awareness to the movements of your daily life.

Services
Are you interested in small group classes at FitLAB? First, you must do the New Client Intro session, even if you have PIlates experience. Your safety is our utmost concern, and this allows us to make sure you can do the exercises without getting hurt! Most people who are brand new to Pilates need more than one private session before doing group classes, so we offer the Great Start package as well.
Pilates is a wonderful way to stay fit and strong during pregnancy, and as long as you are healthy, there's no reason why you can't practice Pilates. Pregnancy is a natural and normal stage of life, not an illness! If you're brand new to Pilates, we do not recommend starting or joining group classes--you should plan on sticking with private sessions.
This is required for any new client to the studio, even if you have Pilates experience. We will tailor the session to your needs, but if you are brand new to Pilates, it will involve a good amount of explanation as you are introduced to the basic concepts of Pilates. The New client intro is 50 minutes long.
24 hours advance notice of cancellation is required for private and semi-private sessions. If cancellations are not done in the app or website, they must be emailed to diane@fitlabpilates.com--telephone messages are not sufficient. If you discuss the cancellation with us verbally, please email to confirm.

I have only positive things to say about this studio. My whole life, I have never been able to keep to a regular workout routine - until now! I come to fitlabs 3x / week and the prices are extremely reasonable. I finally look forward to exercising.
You can't go wrong with any of the instructors. Cilla, Erin, and Kate are all knowledgeable, inclusive of all skill levels, and really seem to love what they do. Diane, the owner, is responsive and communicative.
The studio itself has managed covid restrictions extremely well. The studio and equipment are clean and well-maintained. And the clientele

If you are at all interested in pilates, I could not recommend Fitlab Pilates more highly! I attended two classes a week at Fitlab for over a year before moving to Western Massachusetts. I am not exaggerating when I say that Fitlab classes are one of the things I miss the most about Cambridge/Boston. I could probably write a dissertation on why this studio is exceptional, but I'll do my best to stick to the highlights.
First, the atmosphere of the classes is pretty unique. They focus on building strength rather than burning calories. I don't think I heard any reference to losing weight even once
