Probably the best dosa, idly, sambar and chutneys I've had in the Bay Area (compared to Madras cafe, Madhuri Idly Kadai, etc).
The folks here are joyful and this probably has the best dosa, sambar and chutneys.
Reducing one star as I hope they will have a vegan menu and alternatives (stop adding dairy products like milk, ghee, etc to reduce animal cruelty. Yes, dairy kills cows - please do your own research and learn about it!)
But the folks here are super understanding and options are mostly vegan - so yay

Hi I visited this place today and the staff was very friendly and food was tasty!
But i just want to give a friendly advice to the cheff
Who made maisoore bonda!
Maisoore bonda is made with maida or all-purpose flour. But This bonda is
made by soaking and grinding urad dal (skinned black gram) or chana dal (bengal gram) to batter.
Simply it is vada!
So please change the recipe or change the name in the menu !!
But over all price wise its the best place to visit
And curries,and poori were satisfying!

Wow, I am super impressed by the delicious food here! I don't know how or why I chose to ubereats this place. I never randomly choose an Indian place without high or sufficient ratings. But here goes
There was soo much food. I love Korean food mainly because of their side dishes and this was just like that but with a bunch of Indian sides and curries. Everything was so unique in flavor you could tell every item was specially made for its specific taste; you can see all the herbs and spices in every curry/dish. It even comes with a couple sweet desserts to balance the palate! And they are

Got the deal 5 lunch meal during covid times. 5 containers, 16oz each, just gotta make rice/rotis at home.
It's a pretty solid option for this price ($35) with the leftovers easily lasting another 3 meals. Saves me so much time in the kitchen!
Everything tasted good, no complaints at all! Pepper kuzhambu and Kootu were especially good!
Definitely ordering again!

I tried this place for breakfast, wanted to get a quick bite and South Indian places are always a good idea for quick breakfast fast. Though the experience was a bit rough initially, I thought I have to wait to be seated but nobody showed up at the reception. Later I walked in and saw a sign you pay here, and thought you order first before being seated. But that wasn't true as well, you can sit and at the end you just walkup and pay there.
Alright, food food food. I wanted to order Puri Chana for breakfast but they are only able to serve Idli, Vada, Pongal and Dosa for sometime as they open

I wanted to eat dosa and came here for the first time. Same location used to be a middle east restaurant for many years.
We order a kitchen sink dosa plus an idli, vada combination. Drinks were chai and coffee. Everything were as expected and chutney were tasty. Early Saturday evening dinner time was pretty busy with families. Cost for two was about $30.

I came here to meet up with a friend of mine who's a vegetarian who choose this place.
For those of you who know me, I'm definitely not a vegetarian, but since I like her she could have said we were going to eat spaghetti covered in peanut butter and sprinkles and I would have said "yeah, that sounds great!"
Like the Drake song, "In My Feelings" I was so consumed with all the things I wanted to say to her that I wasn't paying attention to the spiciness of the food. The lentils were too spicy to me, and I ended up drinking my mango lassi so quickly that I almost
