Sanjay and Asha migrated to the United States of America in 2011. Having disappointing Indian Vegetarian Cuisine dining experiences and craving the Authentic Gujarati taste they were accustomed to decided that people from Indian origin should experience the true taste of Traditional Indian Vegetarian Gujarati Cuisine.
Thus, they decided to open their own restaurant to provide this dining experience. They have a vision to provide quality Indian Vegetarian Cuisine through the "THALI EXPERIENCE" - consisting of a wide variety of different dishes providing healthy and balanced nutrition, flavors, texture, and colors to create a complete meal.

Three mediocre puris, one undercooked and non tasting curry, few plain onion pieces for $10.99 + tax? It's a joke. Avoid this place, unless you want to pay $20.99 for the so called platinum thali.
If puris are their main entry, they better be of the highest quality. Their puris are like something that a teenager makes while watching youtube videos.

My first time having Marwadi food and I loved it. My friend and I visited this place for lunch today and ordered their platinum thali. It was not unlimited servings but the food was so much that we got quite full half way itself. Great thali for tasting all their popular items cooked to perfection. Loved the flavours, variety and taste. My friend who is a marwadi loved it too and approved the taste as being as close to home as possible in the US!

This is my all time favorite place when I'm craving some authentic Gujarati food. The place is pretty small so you might want to reach there early. The wait lines can be longer sometimes extending up to one hour. However, the service is really good. They have stopped the unlimited thali and now offer only limited platinum thali for $20.99. I remember back in the days it used to be unlimited and that was very appealing. I would definitely recommend this place if you are new in the area or craving some authentic Gujarati food.

Finally got to visit this place to try their thali. We opted for the platinum thali which is the most elaborate and most expensive one on their menu. It had a good variety of veggies, daals, dhokla, bhaji, puris, chapatis, two desserts and buttermilk. They don't allow any substitutions. It was quite a lot for one person to finish on their own (depending on their appetite of course) but the good thing is they do allow you to share a thali if you prefer. They also have smaller versions of the thali such as shrikhand/ aamras puri thali which comes with three puris, aamras/shrikhand and a choice

We ordered the diamond thali. It is slightly pricier than the other options but you will not regret it one bit. This thali has no refills but the food is plenty. The chapati, puris, khichdi, curries and sabjis were so good. My favorites were the desserts : mango puree & shrikand. And buttermilk to finish it off. Food coma! They don't have outdoor seating. The staff inside are masked but the tables were a little too close to my liking since it's a small place.

Calling out to my veg clan! This place is heaven for those seeking veg Thali. We have eaten here a few times and have always been amazed by the standards and the variety of dishes they have to offer. It’s pricey, I’ll admit but it’s worth it. Best time to go is on weekdays but there aren’t a lot of people. Their Thali is like virtually traveling to India and experiencing the best of all the dishes. It’s primarily gujrati but they have a lot of variety in their menu and have specials during festivals.

The first item listed on the menu at Rajwadi was the Rajwadi Platinum Thali, a metal platter containing 10 different ramekins with different dishes, along with two appetizers and three different breads. Everything else listed on the short menu was a SUBSET of the items that came on the Platinum Thali. I love that. You get to try everything the restaurant has to offer on one plate and not suffer the least bit of food regret from having missed out on something!
That said, every component of the Platinum Thali, which featured Gujarati-style vegetarian dishes, was simply delicious. First, there were

Around 5 plus years ago or maybe more, we decided to try the Gujarati Thali at Rajwadi in Sunnyale. When I took the first bite of Khaman, I shrieked with joy to my hubby, this is the authentic "Surti" taste!! After finishing our dinner, we met the owners Sanjaybhai and Ashabhabhi and it was confirmed that they are originally from Surat and also knew our family back home.
Fast Forward to last week, we had to plan a Memorial/ prathna lunch in Milpitas. Sanjaybhai was really helpful not only in helping us figure out the menu but assured us that he himself will make sure that each and every

Wanted to try out Gujrati thali as I miss the authentic Gujrati flavours living in Toronto. I was excited and expectant reading the reviews and pictures for Rajwadi Thali.
Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed by the flavours and taste of the Thali.
The khaman dhokla was tasty, but it seemed a little stale. The Alu pakora was had a weird texture ( the potato filling was slimy and the besan coating was thick and doughy)and it was served cold.
The surti undhiya also seemed stale. The roti/ Puri were the only fresh items on the thali I felt.

So! If you really want the full spectrum of Gujarati foods then splurge the 20 bucks and Go for the Platinum Thali. It carries all of the flavors from sweet shrikhand to the spicy kadhi with two soft rotis and two pooris - 18 items in all. The Pav Bhaji was tasty and it has a delightfully different flavor and taste than the ridiculously chili-hot Mumbai Pav Bhaji. The Poori Channa was also above par with a rich, not heavy, masala. The service is friendly but could be better. They skimp on paper napkins and the cheap plastic spoons. This is a small eat-house; simple casual and no frills with

One of those hidden gems in the bay area for the food. We had stopped by on a Sunday evening making it in time by a hair of a margin. Between the three of us, we got two thalis. It was more than enough (we couldn't finish and had to request the to-go boxes). Don't be fooled by the small sizes of the bowls. It's a lot of food. I do want to emphasize that the food was not heavy and didn't result in a bloated feeling.
I loved the flavors. Found them to be authentic and very different in each bowl. The thali comes with two desserts -- aam ras (mango puree) and a shrikhand (sweet

If you are in the mood for a good delicious Gujarathi Thaali meals, This is a must try place in South Bay. This restaurant is conveniently located along El Camino Real in Sunnyvale. There is ample parking and options to dine-in as well as take out. We ordered the Platinum Thaali. This has 4 vegetable curries ( one potato based, one paneer based, the traditional Surti Undhiyo( which is traditional part of a Gujarathi meal) and chole masala ( chickpeas in onion based masala gravy). All these curries were really delicious. One of us was vegan, so the staff were gracious enough to substitute the non

Not bad but not great either...just about average. I am a gujju myself and was looking forward to a great meal. Was not disappointed but was also not over joyed by the taste/flavors. I have had much better gujju food elsewhere.
Came here for Sunday lunch and the Platinum Thali was my only option for a full meal. Apparently they don't serve the silver thali over the weekend. Anyhow...I would not be able to finish the platinum thali by myself. Between the two of us...we ordered chole puri and the platinum thali and it was just about enough. We had a roti and puri leftover.

Really enjoyed various curries on the platinum thali. Everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. We also ordered aamras thali which is just ok. Service was quick considering the placed was packed.
I didn't like the bread pakoda that was the appetizer of the night as it was certainly refuted multiple times and had gone hard. There was no chutney as well to accompany the pakoda. I would have really preferred dhokla in the most expensive thali over any other appetizer. Gujarati Kadhi is usually my favorite item at such thali places, but it lacked the thickness and sweetness in this one. Finally

Presentation = A
Food quality = B- (for me.) Basically duplicate of the same exact restaurant in Fremont. Nice variety of flavors. One item (paneer & peas), peas were not cooked properly. I'm on a diet so worked great for me, they had one dish with just veggies.
No papadum which is my favorite
They don't have soda!!! How can you operate a food business without soda lol. Especially w/ indian cuisine, it pairs well together. They give a buttermilk drink instead which was good. My favorite item was the poori (although greasy, squeeze out the oil people!) And black channa.

The food tastes great. The menu on their website and the one on-site is actually misleading. For example, as part of their platinum Thali, they mention 3 pooris, chapatis, etc however they serve only 2. A couple of curries was not that great. But overall, they tasted great. The desserts were very flavorful!
Also, they need to seriously update their website. They mention they close at 2 pm however, they actually close at 1:30 pm. We had to hurry up and reached at 1:28. The price behind us who reached at 1:32 were not allowed in. That sucks.

The best Indian Thali in the South Bay .
It’s a little pricey but you get close to 3000 cal for the money and the variety is amazing. The spice levels are perfect , mainly mild to medium heat and some of the stews may be higher on the scovile scale. This place is 100% vegetarian so there are no meat or egg products at all. But the variety is amazing and you get to enjoy the full bounty of vegetarian food offered by Indian Cusine. Definitely worth a visit we go at least once a month.
Highlights
Fresh : everything tastes and smells absolutely fresh
Each item is prepared authentically

TLDR Good food terrible service.
There were so many moments where i felt the service wasn't up to the mark. To start with, The (assumed) owner is really not willing to answer any questions you may have for the highly unclear unprofessional menu they provide.
Second, they delivered someone else's dish to us. After a couple of minutes they realized so they gave it to the right table. I could've had a bite from that dish and they didn't even care to ask me.
The overall food was good. The desserts are not the best but still pretty good.
I'm not sure about the cleanliness
