Services
Vinyasa flow-to-fit style classes with strong emphasis on building functional strength and flexibility. A typical class begins with a warm up, then core strengthening, followed by a creative but thoughtful flow through poses. Classes finish with balancing practice and guided relaxation or meditation.
Amie began practicing yoga fifteen years ago. After her very first yoga class she experienced an immediate sense of relief and realized that yoga was the answer to a more peaceful, balanced life. She teaches Vinyasa flow-to-fit style classes with strong emphasis on building functional strength and flexibility.
Evening departure aboard Azores Airlines for our transatlantic overnight flight to Ponta Delgada. Dinner will be served on board accompanied by a selection of Portuguese wines to complement your meal. 2:30pm -Walking trail what ends in Praia da Viola, a remote beach where we will do some Yoga. 4:30pm -Visit a Tea Factory (option - on way home) to sample the local black and green tea.

I have done yoga in the past and got away from it. I forgot how calming and relaxing it can be. I am just getting over shoulder injuries and I was just not a happy camper with the pandemic and everything else going on. My attitude was not great. I was not felling well. Amie's yoga class not only made me feel better mentally, it made me feel better physically. The stretches to relieve pressure in your neck, shoulders, and back are great. She gets the whole body in 1 class. My hamstrings were a mess and they are better now. I took a yoga class and played golf afterward in pouring rain for 3 of the

Taking Amie's group yoga-pilates fusion classes is like having your own personal trainer. Be prepared for a very well-rounded, challenging work out that incorporates every muscle group and uses weights, balls, and blocks. Truly, my favorite classes in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. Her 8:30 AM Saturday class - which is not offered every Saturday so be sure to check the website - is incredible.
