Services
Downdog Flow Yoga & Pilates studio was built on the philosophy to spread the love and passion of yoga and fitness, and serve the community. Downdog teachers and students are passionate about delivering and seeing results in a judgement-free and positive environment. We have fun together, support one another and have built long-lasting friendships.
In this 60 minute class, we begin with a slow warm up and intention setting, gradually building heat through challenging flows, and culminating in a grand peak pose. Sequences are designed with powerful movements and breath alignment, integrating core exercises for building strength and flexibility.
If this is your first time scheduling a class, you'll be asked to create a log in and profile. Make sure to give us a shout before you book your first class so that we can be sure to answer any questions that you have! This schedule is also available in the Studio Bookings mobile app! I started here six weeks ago looking to lose the weight from the pandemic and an injury. Melissa is a great instructor! Knowledgeable and motivating. Very casual atmosphere and welcoming to newbies. In six weeks I’ve lost four pounds, and adding two classes per week is the only thing I’m doing different. Can’t recommend enough!

I went to my first Downdog yoga class almost 3 years ago and instantly fell in love with the studio and community, and of course the workouts! Whether you are looking for stretching and relaxation in a Restorative class, want to amp it up in the constantly challenging HIIT and barre classes, or anything in between - Melissa has the perfect fit for you. Be prepared to sweat a lot, but you'll laugh and have fun with the other students even more. Wonderful all around experience!

Love Downdog Flow Yoga & Pilates! Classes are unique, challenging, and thoughtfully planned. Studio is spacious and always exceptionally clean. One side of studio is for Pilates reformer and personal training, the other side is for group classes: yoga / pilates / barre / HIIT - try all the classes, there is something for everyone. I always leave class feeling strong and accomplished. A lovely studio, owner and supportive community!

I love this studio! Whether you choose yoga, pilates, or something else, the classes will never be the same from the last. The change up always keeps your muscles guessing. Modifications are given so there is something for everyone at any level. I really appreciated this especially when I was pregnant. Classes are fun which allows me to lose track of time while getting an amazing work out. Thank you!

I started working with Melissa on the Pilates Reformer over a year ago to gain flexibility in my legs after dealing with an autoimmune disorder that affected my knees. The progress I have made has resorted all the confidence in my body and mind and helped put my life back on track. I have since added Power Yoga and Restorative Yoga to my weekly routines and only wish I had started sooner. The studio space and other classmates are perfectly welcoming, comfortable and supportive. Give Melissa and Downdog Flow a try and you won’t be disappointed!

First off, let me start off by saying I highly recommend Downdog Flow Yoga & Pilates Studio and Melissa as a Yoga and Pilate's teacher and here's why:

Style:
Melissa brings her own style and technique to her classes - it's a playful, fluid, and challenging practice - a combination of Vinyasa and Pilates. Not only do you get a good sweat but she always has a focus and intention behind it. She does a great job of breaking down the flow in an easy and methodical way and no class is ever alike.
