We define Conscious Fitness as movement for the body that is controlled and enjoyed by the mind as it enhances the spirit. We teach movement that uses breathing as the natural force to support and improve individual power and efficiency of movement, leaving you invigorated and serene after a workout.

We provide educating, enthusiastic, and empowering workouts that are individually tailored for every client. We are continually updating and expanding our knowledge-base to bring cutting-edge training principles to our students. Balance Pilates specializes in personal and small group training. Our clients range from children to 90+ year olds who are looking to maintain and improve their quality of life through healthy, intelligent movement.
Services
I have always been a middle of the pack runner and started with Balance Pilates because I was having trouble with endurance, balance and flexibility. At 68 I thought that I was going to have to accept the decrease in fitness.

Pilates has not only improved my athletic performance, but has given me so much more--I am stronger, more confident, recover faster from minor aches and pains, and have learned to safely push myself to accomplish more athletically than I could have ever imagined.Old age can wait.
Balance Pilates is individually owned and operated by Connie Borho. Our space is a welcoming, friendly, boutique-style studio with an energetic, yet soothing environment. We encourage meeting goals, yet staying within reach of comfort zones; we empower our students and clients to push themselves when they need to, yet pamper themselves when they want to!
In order to provide our clients with clear communication and fair service, we ask that you read the following carefully. Balance Pilates has a 24-hour cancellation policy. This means that if an appointment is not cancelled within the cancellation policy time, the student will be charged for the session or class.
Balance Pilates offers an unparalleled level of mind/body fitness instruction, dedicated to strengthening your body, engaging your mind, and nurturing your spirit. We specialize in personal training for clients with a variety of special needs, as well as those who simply want to make Pilates exercise a part of their regular exercise routines.
Balance Pilates offers excellent continuing education for fitness, yoga, and Pilates teachers throughout the year. Credits available for ACE, AFAA, NASM, and PMA. Subscribe to our teacher newsletter and to keep up-to-date on all our offerings. This 8-hour day with teacher trainer and mentor Connie Borho will provide you with the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of teaching Pilates.

The pilates were delicious, the yoga was a little undercooked but I usually order mine rare anyway. Overall, strange restaurant layout, but surprisingly tasty food if you know the right questions to ask.

Fantastic little place. I visited before they moved but instructors were of high caliber, and very inviting. Connie herself is a highly respected national figure in the Pilates world. A nice little gem in Bradenton.

Connie and Carly Borho are two of the best pilates teachers I have had . I had taken private pilates lessons about 15 years ago and although they were good, they were not as thorough and the instruction was not as focused on technique and precision. The studio is lovely, inviting, organized and clean. Both Connie and Carly are the kindest, warmest, welcoming lovely teachers. I have gained so much strength, power, flexibility, and my core is the strongest it has ever been. My posture and sense of well being is also attributed to my teachers and the other clients as well.
